Earlie,

And this is in response to a simple question that I asked, what are Michael's risk adjusted returns? All professional investors have a risk model, so I am told. Of course, there is no response to my question, but a rather personal statement about who Michael is ... and who Earlie is!

Tell me, why should I care about what your qualifications are, since I am seldom going to put my money in the hands of a active fund manager? I asked a simple question, and as long as I do not get an answer, I will ask it over and over again. Ignore me if you want to, please! But, do you understand that your post is full of personal biases and is totally content free?

Frankly, I would not expect any better from a professional money manager/analyst, since measurement of risk-adjusted returns threaten their basic means of liveliehood.

-BGR.

Earlie, you are not alone..

I consider you to be a very patient person. Also, both MB and Heinz are known to be mountains of patience. Booger managed to annoy both of them. About 2 long years ago I used to be very patient with those who deliberately or unintentionally tried to annoy me. Not any more. I've just don't mince words any more:

Earlie -

Way OT

Re - You have already become a person who has accrued a significant number of "ignores".

Is there a way to see the ignore totals? I just want to check the current standings.

Thanks -

PS - I personally am ignoring Mohan - but he doesn't realize it since I am ignoring him - so will you tell him?

Real life - it's like high school only with money. (I think that was George Carlin's line - MB would know.)

earlie, bgr clearly has napoleon syndrome. he feels as though he is some small guy who has to go after someone he perceives as a "man's man" to make a name for himself and boost his self esteem. that isn't the saddest part.

the saddest part is he can't even develop his own ideas - or even extend the ideas of others - or even meld multiple ideas together. he takes someone else's ideas and puts them forth as truth. the support for "his" ideas is his source. he never evaluates the merits of the source's arguments.

when clearly shown to be rambling in the absurd, he finds some way to lash (revealing that he KNOW how absurd he is acting).

ignore works wonders. ;-)

btw, you'd be hot if the "man's man" thesis of declining markets hit after you bought the naz in a lump some somewhere in the high 4000s and saw 30% erosion of your wealth in a few months time, too ;-)
