Semi lies starting to come into the open. ATY warned this morning for the next quarter citing scarcity of parts while at the same time taking a $56 million writedown in excess inventory! LOL!! That news was worth a 50% haircut at the open! Wonder who is next..... Unfortunately if POS came out with similar news it would probably be considered bullish-ng-. No matter, INTC and POS can't stand in the tsunami's path forever, their turn cannot be far off.

The behavior of QCOM today makes me wonder...and Hong Kong looked pretty sick last night as well--down about 2.5%

By the way, how is defense sector today?

(Frankly I find it hard to believe the vote will fail. But if we see a big drop near close...well...anything can happen.)
