2. "We have not yet seen any class action suits. I think Novell announced the best defense imagineable during the
conference call. By spending all $500 million buying shares at an average price of $25, they proved conclusively that they were clueless about the falling sales and were genuinely surprised by their huge failure in the quarter. They could only be sued if they misled investors by their public statements. You can't lose for being clueless! No law
against that!"

Well you have a good sense of humor! I don't think they are *clueless*. They just don't care about shareholders. Shareholders are suckers a nuisance if you want. But these guys do know how to look after their interests very well. Most of the 500 million probably ended up in the bank accounts of these managers. This has been going on for a long time. Last year they spent a lot of money paying up Slitz, Stone, Nelson etc.

I think the only one of the current crew who is fully invested is Eric Schmidt. The old timers have been always net sellers.

So in the end how many shares have they retired?

And now that a buyback is crucial to support the stock what are they going to do?

Mr Kilo has not answered yet. I am looking forward to see what he has to say.
