<<When you say they are slow, are we talking a couple of seconds or much longer>>

Depends. In the morning it can be as much as 5 seconds slow. Later in the day, like today, they have been slow by about 1 second at certain times. However, that is not what matters - that 1 second delay can seriously mess up your entry/exit point - EXACTLY what a trader cannot afford. If you are an investor, it doesn't matter what your entry/exit point is - a couple of point won't make a difference in the large scheme of things. But for a trader, it is THE issue - proper entry/exits because THAT is how you make your living. An absolute scandal that Cyber cannot get this fixed - after all, there are other quote services that don't have these problems - they should have backup systems running, and continuous monitoring to see if there are discrepancies - it is possible to set it up such that this is done. It is a scandal that a DAYTRADING broker doesn't do that for their traders. The issue is not just bad quotes (I always check against other quote feeds), but the fact that the software is set up in such a way that the price is in your trading box automatically - if the quotes are slow, the update to those is slow as well, which means you have to change it manually - and that eats up the time you need to make instant decisions for entry/exit. An absolute scandal. Also, watch out, in that sometimes the quotes will freeze altogether.

>I am going to start using cyberx with qcharts next week. - Wes

Wes, now question but that Qcharts is the best charting PROGRAM out there BUT their serious DATA FEED problems over the last few months means you must be aware of them.

I have completely stopped trading at the open any more due to these problems - the data is totally useless.

Having said that, since the market went south they are much better - I assume due to the fact that they lost a lot of customers due to their feed problems AND lost a lot of traders due to losses in the market and no longer trading.

It has been obvious for sometime that Qcharts problems were volume based so less customers puts less strain on the system - they have been "upgrading" their system for months now with little completed, it seems.

Ref. CyberX - it has worked very well for me, except for the loading of trade methoid mentioned in a few posts below.

HOWEVER, I have some problems the last few days for some reason, both yesterday and this morning having to call in to get system reset to show what I actually had active. It was still showing - on their end - a LYCOS trader from yesterday! but not on my screen! Scarey.

Never had these type problems before.
