It was almost two years ago now, I think. Niles was holding a dinner party at his house for the big shots at the companies he covers so he could keep the insider information free and flowing. -g-

Anyway, Appleton of POS was in a particularly steroid induced state that night and pushed around and nearly came to a fist fight with the CFO of RMBS. Apparently the RMBS guy was telling Appleton to cool it on publicly voicing POS's dislike of RDRAM and to get with the program and join the RMBS cause.

Heinz:

Dan held a nice little dinner party which was attended by some heavy hitters from the semi sector. The CEO of MU got into a "scuffle" (later reported to be more than that) with one of the other attendees. The gossip at the time held that the cops were initially called, then called off when everybody cooled down. Of course there were many questions asked in the aftermath. (g)

Best, Earlie

We posted the text from thestreet.com, wish I could remember the date, but if you can search either the POS thread or thestreet.com, you can get the whole story.
