You're re-living Microsoft's glory days (again) in reference to the SDK. The current SDK along with the Forte tools puts Solaris/Sparc squarely at the top of the heap. Linux is even a competitive Java development platform to MS these days. Anyway, your guys have gone a different direction. --- With regard to SO, I guess it's just a matter of personal preference. You, of course get Office for free. The rest of us get StarOffice for free. <g> --- I used "threatening verbage" in the broadest possible context there, mozek. I was being somewhat absurd. Not as absurd as defending the Windows security model as being on par with Unix, but absurd nonetheless. :) -JCJ
