it's a license to steal at these levels... DLJ has been working a big seller for about a week; combined with the SLR warning, retail sellers are committing sepuku. Ironically, word I heard is that SLR only warned because they were doing an offering and were required to by their lawyers... ie, no unusual risk to forward earnings. Well, gravitational pull of fundementals are irresistable over time. Should be an interesting market when all the sideline money starts playing chicken with each other on getting back in. What are they going to buy, T Bills?
