Hi Jeff .... the market has been so bad that I've been trying not to watch it every minute. Thought I might try to develop a life -- anyway, out of money now to average down or buy any bargains. so am stuck holding everything. My problem is that EVERYTHING and EVERYTIME I sell (or capitulate) the market turns around and I end up losing a bundle. So this time I decided to hold firm no matter what -- and now I am killing myself. Thought about selling a couple weeks ago and said, "No, not now -- it's too late" ... that was about 500-600 nasdaq points ago. Since then I have taken at least another 20-25% beating.

I guess a year from now, if I continue to hold and the market finally turns around, I will be sitting pretty -- but I doubt that FAIM or DDDC, etc. which were bought so high (over 50) will recover to that degree. FAIM - maybe high teens and DDDC should be back into the 20's ... and I have so many like this.

When stocks like ORCL and SUNW and AMAT take such a beating, I know I'm in trouble (and yes, down 25-35% on these as well, although I am still profitable on the first two but gave back almost all the profits). Bought AOL about a year or more ago at 50 ... and here we are again.
