I think MS & Sun both give as good as they get from each other. Both issue press releases that exaggerate their own position, both employ sales staff that are less than honest and impartial, both take digs at each other and distort the facts. Sun management has always been promising the next best thing to storm the world is right around the corner and coming from them. Whether it be the NC, Java or Jini. They have yet to deliver on that promise. Just as MS has yet to deliver on the promise of the instant on PC that can be used and understood easily by technically illiterate people.
