Let's see. This is the best up day since May 5. A stunning finish we would have to agree. Even the old-econ index charts and the S&P are very close to breaking out of the trading ranges they have been in for a few days. The weakening fundamentals have no affect on investors at all outside the tech issues.

We may see some profit-taking in the last few minutes, but the bulls are going to snort and I congratulate them. We could point to internals and such, but who cares. Let them have it.

The NASDAQ wants to go to the top of this bull(-trap?)-flag now. If that pops it will be the mother of second-chance opportunities to buy puts, albeit with high premiums.

I made a trading mistake today. When I was busy deciding which few puts to sell, I should have also been buying some longs/calls to hedge. This is a mistake I will not make again. Live and learn.
