Wrong. Robert Caro's award-winning LBJ biography, Means of Ascent, detailed LBJ's racism back home in Texas, especially in his campaigns against invariably more decent men.

Obviously, you never heard the names LBJ called his share croppers on his ranch, or what he said privately about desegregating the school system in Texas to those he wanted to impress, to back him in his political objectives. ~H~
