Contest entry

Here are mine:

1) KEG
2) PGO
3) FLC
4) PKD
5) RIG

I feel like Slider and Jim P today. Bought KLAC big at 42. Semicaps were getting to the point of absurdness in valuation, particularly LRCX, KLIC and KLAC to a lesser degree.

Jim P-the once in a lifetime buying opportunity you mentioned the other day just got better. Equities in oil and gas dropped despite high prices and low inventories. But the law of supply and demand is unforgiving and is soon to rule in our favor. In NG there is no OPEC, no SPR, no waiving of clean air regs. There is just the fact of insufficient supply versus increasing demand. We will not refill storage for next winter, we will burn more NG to generate power this summer and we will see price spikes in both seasons. Very little can change these facts -an abnormally cool summer might slow the process but with the Kyoto agreements, our irrational fear of nuclear power, ongoing drought in key areas and the problems of coal plants nothing can stop the shift to NG before 2010. Today was a good buying day to solidify one's position. I bought CRK,FLC,BSNX and PGO.Now I wait. And the calvary is not coming from Canada-- Frank
