"Time to go shopping.
Where's the credit card, honey??"

Hmmmm.....Somehow I get the feeling that women invented sports just so they could go shopping.

Well, ok, but some things are given and one is that May is ESPN month in my house, the Stanley Cup playoffs (and don't tell me you haven't a sneaking interest in the Dallas fortunes) and the closing of the major European football leagues being about the only sporting events that interest me.

And at least these are games that flow, thinking people's games, not like American football, where they have to stop the game every few seconds so the coaches can tell everyone what to do, or basketball, where the score changes every time you turn your back, and the last 5 minutes might be interesting if the game is close.

Sport is the only human endeavor where rampant prejudice is not only acceptable, but almost mandatory. I love it.
