tom...i closed out some brcm and qcom short positions today at a loss, but had no problem doing so to offset rather large gains i had when i sold the common. i'm a bit ambivalent....would like to see the market go up, but would prefer an honest solid basing and a strong volume trend reversal... emotions will always exist....just need not to get attached to one issue or strategy....nothing wrong with admitting an incorrect call.... inspite of the rally, too many issues broke down in the morning.......could have a wave of short covering....long weekend coming, doubt a true rally into it...... better to wait for a conclusive confirmation, and scalp what can be had in the interim...
