Dalin, It not occur to me to buy China.com stock today. I was buying the tech stocks but should have looked into the China stocks during the day---and dump them afterhours! Lack of planning on my part.

OT I can't believe some of those Democrats who talked against the deal--saying we need China to observe human rights before a deal. What a bunch of dopes. Anyone with a brain knows you cannot force countries to do what the US wants. It makes them more defiant. Free trade and technology is the answer. The internet will will impact all Chinese as long as the technological revolution keeps going. Sooner or later closed minds of such governments will open up because they will slowly get brainwashed with the assistance of the new world of communications technology. Their real concern is basically the same problem Microsoft--a Break up!!<g> That happened to the Soviet Union and they don't want it to happen in China and that is the real reason they don't want democracy. They don't want another disaster like Russia. From their perspective, that is a reasonable concern. BTW-- i actually like their intentions but they are really misguided.
