Well, after a week I am finally back on line with my main computer. I wiped my hard drive clean as you recommended and restored the original software. I had a heck of a time getting my computer to communicate with the new modem I installed last year. Everything is working like a charm now. I guess I will go and update both my Netscape and IE browsers now.
