When the original proxy was prepared (late Feb early March), AMD was not anticipating a stock split, therefore, no proposal of share increase was included in the original proxy.

The share increase proposal and the seperate meeting tomorrow are a after-thought of AMD management as a result of AMD stock run-up in late March and April.

gazillion new option symbols

I am worried about it as well, in case of AMD. It reduces liquidity. I really hope they do only 2:1. Any new options I buy are divisible by 10, but if they do 3:1, I still may end up with strange strikes.
