My recent post are from what I just saw on CNBC, just a few minutes ago. The judge asked the prosecutors to come up with a new split plan and he rejected msft's request for a extension. They also want to make the browser a seperate company.

Bad reporting by CNBC as usual. Check the newswires. The newswires would have reported it by this time. He has asked them to fine tune their 2 ways split for --how to enforce it; increasing cross ownership limit to 5%; He wanted someone in there to make sure that if MSFT does not do a satisfactory split, it allows the DOJ to take of the problem.
