EDIT/Revised 1Q GDP figure unchanged - markets may be 'disappointed' ... FED would rather see slower growth.

8:36 a ET

The first quarter U.S. gross domestic product advanced at a revised 5.4 % pace, the government said Thursday. The increase was unchanged from the initial report last month, but slightly higher than the 5.2 % increase analysts expected.

The GDP price deflator, a key measure of inflation, also remained unchanged, posting a 2.7 percent gain.
