the put/call ratio was still very low today even when the market was near its lows. That tells me that even after all the declines of late people remain very bullish. People are still very quick to turn bullish. There is no fear in the market.

Maybe we now also have a new term---"contrarian contrarian indicator". <g>
So many people are used to high put/call as signs of fear that maybe it does not apply that often (like now). It did not work all last fall/winter.

We are about to get buying here. Selling seems to be low volume. That is the way it seems to be unfolding. Maybe the new era of investing has its own rules that are being discovered right now.

Saw Joe Kernan on CNBC mention how the bears will come out and say that we have to retest and on and on. He said watch out for that in the coming days. I remember him saying the same things back in 1998. Feels like Deja Vu. <ggg>

"Capitulative buying" is what may be happening now (as Optical Preacher mentioned earlier)!

Are you ever going to add something original and/or substantive to SI, or are you going to continue to rip off sections of the Street.com and pass them off as your own? The comical thing is, that was about the only bearish excerpt from that entire site today.

For everyoen else here, there was large volume during the snap back today--much more so than the other rebounds we have seen the past month or two. If we can get another up day with 2B+ volume within a few days, this could be a decent sustainable run for a little bit. It will be important to get this type of day, but also realize that JDSU pegged at 79 or so with the NAZ testing new lows. This seems to bode pretty well, as many other bellweather type Nets hit new lows during Tuesday and this morning.

Late.

I am still waiting for you to respond to the rumor you posted regarding the DOJ and the timing of KK stepping down.

If you continue to avoid this issue, nothing you post will be taken seriously. I implore you to step up and back up your words with facts.

Looking forward to your quick and detailed response.
