QUALCOMM Incorporated (Nasdaq: QCOM - news), pioneer and world leader of Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) digital wireless technology, and Samsung today announced that Samsung will support the development and deployment of HDR for high-speed wireless Internet access globally.

O.K. PNTR is a done deal. China has been looking at Korean CDMA technology. Samsung is officially on board the HDR train. Let's see, who does China trust more, the Swedes, the Americans, the Finns, the Germans, or the KOREANS!?

Think about this scenario: China goes with a 1xMC/HDR CDMA system from Samsung. In less than a year, they would have the most advanced wireless voice and data network in the world. And only those companies buying chips from Q would be able to supply it.
