And "complete consciousness" includes acknowledgement of the mystery of our existence, and awareness of the spiritual realm, my irrational brother. <edit> When I was a young pup in church (Lutheran) I asked my pastor many questions about the internal logic of our beliefs. He was, as he later told my mother, seriously "challenged". But even though he couldn't satisfy my rational inquiries, my spiritual consciousness had been launched, and I have found it much more reliable than my rationality over the years.
