Too much. Just heard this story on local TV news.

We had a Canadian-wide stock picking contest for high school students. Many of the scool groups posted big gains. Our local group was up 47% and the winner nationwide was up 100%. Here's the kicker: The contest ran for the last 3 months!

When asked what was the most important strategy their group employed, a student responded: "Well, we look at the 365 day chart of prices and, well, if it's low, we look to buy."

I tell you, thinking too much in this market is a bad mistake. This has been so for many years.

it reflects mainly the strength in the energy complex however. all the other components are quite tame. the livestock bull seems to have topped out and the ags can't really get off the mat so far. cotton and sugar look strong.
