any thoughts on how high a run and how long the run will last before the downturn? given market fundamentals i feel more comfortable in going short the run at the appropriate time in preparation for the big downturn. i think nas has a lot of resistance at 200 d MA. also how did you get your 8000 dow target? comments welcome. p.s. re. 1996 -99, the appeal of perpetual low interest rates despite quick growing economy provided some justification for high valuations - but they went way out of wack at the end of 99.
