The E mail from Toni Beckham
AMD Investor Relations
....
AMD's guidance has not changed since our last public comments. We expect to introduce both the Thunderbird and Duron versions of the Athlon processor in the current quarter. Demand for our processors remains strong, and the
company is working diligently to meet the strong demand. We are not experiencing chipset shortages despite rumors or the comment from a sell-side analyst on May 23.

The production ramp in Dresden, Germany is progressing very well and will produce first shipments and revenues from the facility in the current quarter.

AMD experienced record revenues and earnings for Q1 2000 and we expect to report similar or better results for the current quarter.

We see the recent decline in price as unfounded and as of this moment, the stock appears to be recovering from the over-reaction.
