Why doesn't Taiwan like the news? After a pretty hefty gap-up it has drifted ever lower and is now negative. WUWT? I would have thought that the China deal would have included some backroom assurances about Taiwan.

They get royalties on all CDMA chipsets sold among other things. The CDMA carriers are starting to show why it's a better product with the quick easy roll out of wireless browsers [which I have one and have nice monitors via bloomberg to watch the market while playing golf as well as trade via Fidelity where I have my IRA... and it works GREAT, I'm very pleasently surprised. Anyway, the TDMA networks claim to ramp up soon [ATT specifically] but are waiting on various software solutions to bring TDMA up to speed... pro Q folks are saying no way, they'll never catch up to quality and quantity of CDMA... if they switch to QCOM technology QCOM would explode... indeed as I said it should grow very quickly even without this. All this is MO only and everyone should do their own DD!!! There are some very savy folks on the Q threads, unfortunately ton's of drivel by the 'porch types' as well. DAK
