I watched some of it. But you know what they say about movies based on a book. The movie is never as good as the book. And since I had already read The Book well, what can I say........ ? <ggg> But seriously, I think it was done without the usual Hollywood disrespect. Lew

Dear Mark, I only saw parts of the miniseries. From what I saw they added a lot to what we know from scripture and made Him seem more tempted than the Bible says. If anyone was uplifted and grew closer to God from it then it was good. Here are some words from Jesus about prayer; Matthew 7 7 Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. 9 "Which of you, if his son asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11 If you then though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask Him? Then He adds this; 12 So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets. Maybe God considers how we treat others as to how He answers our prayers for personal comfort? Lord Bless you, Nancy

The only benefit is seeing it was to be aware.. once again of the evil forces "out there".... always working against Christ and His followers!! We tuned in to it for awhile and kept waiting for the truth to emerge, however when the writers (Most of whom were not Christians) decided to strip the LORD Jesus Christ of His deity.....I cursed it and went to God in prayer.
