On the other hand, it also presents an opportunity for anyone with entrepreneurial ambitions (and America is full of ambitious entrepreneurs) to start a new business in order to meet that Demand.

Only if there is capital to finance the entrepreneurs, which implies the possibility of the VC making lots of money. VC's do not see that as an option under the current monetary policy imposed by the Feds.
