Hello Chung_Lee,

Re: Crazyman, is Athlon 700 the sweet spot in the market?
Pictures of Duron and KZ133 based MSI6340 motherboard, probably doing some benchmark, they are coming!

The Athlon 700 is the sweet spot (for me) right now, at 750 and above the cache speed clock drops from 1/2 processor frequency (at 700 MHzand below) to 2/5 up to 900 MHz then goes to 1/3 I think. Declining returns the higher the frequency goes and the higher the price gets.

On board cache will run at full processor frequency on the "coming in June" Duron/TBird (and this late summer/fall the Mustang)--I can't wait, this change alone will blow the top off of the excellent performance we've seen so far. As NiceGuy767 reminds us, the "Athy" is young and spry and growing rapidly. It's going to get a lot tougher to pick an Athlon, sky's the limit!

Kindest regards,
CrazyMan
