You being an avid sailor, knows there is no way you are going to change my mind. I prefer the power boat.

Ours was a 45' Bayliner.

Hi smthsail,

I think sail boats are BEAUTIFUL! I have to admit to having never been on one (except a very small 2 person version we played with on a large lake). We've always owned power boats, but I told my husband if we ever lived near the coast I would want a sail boat. There is something magical about cutting across the water with the wind in the sail, you feel like you're in control of nature!

(Plus no diesel fumes! Cough, cough)
