Bharat,

Thanks for the info. Lehman's analyst was trying to do a job on Intel over the years, succeeding only on a short term basis.

Q's drop in the past 3 days was also attributed to disproportionately large odd-lot sells. Some folks on this thread probably belonged to this bunch. <g>

Regards,
Ibexx

Well, BHB, Tim Luke just sealed his fate as a "LTB&H EMPLOYEE" of Lehman. There are going to be a great many money mgrs who will demand his head on a silver platter when he's discredited and then hung out to dry in the next 24 months...if he lasts THAT long, for writing that private memo.

However, us longs I guess should be grateful the capitulation is finally complete. Why a money runner would advise his firm's biggest clients to sell at the bottom is a mystery to begin with. And why said clients would be so dumb as to believe an analyst as opposed to dropping a dime on the company and finding out if they are still doing business in China is just too wierd for me.

However, thanks for that headszup. It shouldn't be too hard to remember that young chap's name for future pilloring.
