I guess the question is how much of the volume was short covering. That's what I find intriguing about your comment of "reestablish" their positions. I'm just recently starting to get tuned into the movement of stocks when there is leaning and when there is not;what a difference. I'm always bullish to a point[it works for me] because I can always find spots to get at least a few points on the upside but finding the shorts and their affect on stocks interesting.I'm sure they must work together in some respect to get the ball rolling to the down side;it's just too orchestrated to the point where it's group skills at work,artful.
