Thanks Gary. I guess I was attempting to bring out two points. 1) It really doesn't make much of a difference if the 6 month restriction ends in June or July and 2) MSFT has a lot of control over moving the stock now that the DOJ's case is winding down.

IMO once they get the appeal pushed into the future they can maneuver the fundamentals to a more positive front. In any event I don't think shorting the stock in here would be a wise thing to do!
