From the tidbits of this mornings economic data I caught, things look to be stronger than ever.

Your fear seems to be that wealth is being destroyed by the Nazdaq crash, is that right? Along with this, people are spending less?

If this is true (which it's not) you should see the unemployment rise very quickly. I'm not saying by a lot, but even .1 or .2 percent. The GDP should also slow then, but that data shows up later. So, I think the fed will be looking most closely at unemployment since those stats come out frequently and it is one of the quickest stats to come out (GDP is much more complicated to compile, IE a small delay).

As long as unemployment is at a 36 year low, look for more hikes. If it goes up a fraction, I see the fed standing still. If it goes up drastically, the fed will cut.

If unemployment stays low, the economy is still booming and there's no reason to get out of the market. Do what ya gotta do though...
