All: The most recent edition of PC Magazine has a market forecast on page 85 for wireless internet devices. IDC is predicting that the number of wireless internet devices by 2002 will exceed the number of wired internet subscribers. By 2002 over 600 million people are expected to have wireless connections, while by 2004 this figure is expected to have increased to 1.3 billion -- double the number of wired internet connections! That's one heck of a lot of devices that need the kind of battery that Valence is producing. This recent down-turn is wonderful for those of us who are planning on holding for a few years and were hoping to pick up some cheaper shares.
