Hello all. I'm a long time lurker. (@18, @28) Thought I'd point out a few things I noticed.

Tom's Hardware is reporting (confirmed at Ace's) that the DDR "Almador" chipset is for a 0.13 pentium III, not Willy. Given that Intel isn't finished with there transition to 0.18, why would they devote limited 0.13 production lines to P3, with Willy almost here? Begs the question- Is Willy really supposed to be repositioned into the mainstream soon? Maybe this is how they plan to deal with the medium term AMD on DDR threat, without breaking their Rambus contract? Willy might really be rambus only. And this could be how they plan to get P3 to 1GHz and beyond. In related news, the Register reported that the Tehema chip set is for enthusiasts- ie $$$.

Also does anyone think it was the sale of the comm division that pushed AMD down? As Tad pointed out, this will lower our "after one time events" profit this year, due to taxation. Not that investors should have forgot that our tax write off was also a one time event.
