How does restructuring give them cash, or improve the books?

I can see how it might help their cash position in the medium term, but short term, it might actually cost them -- depending on how much of the "restructuring charges" are cash items vs. noncash charges.

How much is their current (long in the tooth?) product suite worth though (for a partial or complete buyout)? Less than their present stock market value, I would guesstimate.... (unless the crazy maniac times come back again, but that is far from certain, and if you thought it was likely, there are probably more lucrative ways to bet on it than buying CORL).
