OTOT/ MSFT: This sounds so much like " cooperative learning "
that our LEFTIST, Educational Establishment Intelligentsia,
tried to foist unto our public schools: On the one hand we
had
Johnny who had no clue/ never will/ of what the math
problem was all about. Next to him is Billy functioning at
2 grade levels above
( aka as gifted ) getting
a) bored with the lesson,
b) dropping out mentally
c) starting to disrupt class,
d) Conclusion no long term benefit to either of the two.
it is very common for the gifted children to
underachieve in regular classes

" The government plan would give the operating-system company incentives
to work more closely with non-Microsoft developers of applications,
Boies said. Similarly, the applications software company
would have incentive to develop products aimed to run on competing operating systems
and that could also develop as middleware threats to Windows ".
