I hope that there are not too many Softbank people on the Startupfailures.com chat board (except perhaps as advisors <G>). I didn't mean to go so far as to indicate a renewed bullishness. I do think that Softbank's competitors and potential competitors have been hurt more than Softbank by the Nasdaq meltdown. For instance, the Divine Interventures IPO for their new venture capital company has been postponed. They were the ones who billed themselves as "The First Internet Zaibatsu".
