Usually the market moves up after a big rate hike, because the belief is that it we are at the end. What caused the latest crash was that AG failed to give any positive guidance after the big rate hike.

Scumbria,

They changed the rules earlier this year....they will not give a bias anymore!!

Scumbia, what would you have said, that no matter how bad inflation got you aren't going to raise rates??? You would prefer lying to telling the truth? First of all, that is why AG has such a great reputation, because he always tells what he perceives to be the the truth. Do you wish AG to become another Bill Clinton who takes a poll a week and does whatever gets him the most votes;lies like hell, takes credit for all good but denies everything bad..Haven't we had enough of that yet. Secondly AG said that if inflation kept going higher ,he fed would raise rates. Whats wrong with that statement which seems to be the heart of your anger? The markets are going down because they percieve inflation is going up; therefore rates will go up; but is that AG's fault. Wouldn't that be your buddy's Bill fault for getting the economy too primed?
You are just as biased for Bill and against AG as Elmer is biased against AMD.
