All the more reason to respect his ability. Holding off from buying until the trend is going his way is a very rare and valuable ability. Which I unfortunately don't have.

Speaking of the market going your way, it seems we had a temporary bottom within shouting distance of NASDAQ 3000, and reversed up on the China vote. Are you covering ? Or waiting for max pain to do it for you ?

Your earlier post was really funny. I'll have to ask my wife to pay more attention to me, too.

Sarmad, that is very funny. I really respected Mark and still do, but Mark is a guy who would
never post a loss, so I assume he's never had one.;-)

Mark will post a sale if asked and I have seen him post a loss. Mark is an excellent techinician my mind and does a lot of DD on FA too. Ask him for an opinion, and you get one well thought out too. Mark has had losses. He cuts them short as I should do better and he reads the entire market well.

Mark F only comes out to play on SI on good momentum investing days. He might come and
play today.

Yep; Mark plays in a good market for him and "takes a vacation" when he expects the market to not perform well. I would do the same if I understood the market as well as Mark.

Would you not do the same?

wh and mf both play here on their own terms, IMO. i don't know why anyone would want to try to follow them, after all there are newsletters around that give you a proper update on what to buy sell or hold and give you a clear update about performance or lack thereof.

i think warren buffett has time and class to admit when he feels he's screwed up. but the locals on si are TOO BUSY <GGG>

how could they be busier than Warren ?
