There are relative degrees of confidence in the short run. From a pure monetary sense the ultimate floor of confidence is when dollars are priced relative to other monetary vehicles as to their only remaining utility as being accepted to satisfy tax liabilities. If one is to include the realm of political confidence into one's perspective; then, the ability to assert tax collection authority becomes a factor as well. I don't see this extreme of the relative confidence scale in the current aggregate perspective.
