When someone says they "HATE" the Bible, it stands to reason that they hate me for believing in it.

ON the contrary, that isn't at all reasonable. One has nothing to do with the other. You're saying that because I hate the shoes X has on, I must hate X. WHich is silly, I just don't like her taste in footwear. I might really like her taste in hats.
