"I see you mentioned PFE (Pfizer), a company that is not a G&K candidate, as a long term hold." I was talking about my son's portfolio which is structured a little differently than mine. You might find this an interesting aside about pfe. Remember when they doubled their sale staff. More than one analyst said it would hurt earnings and cut their rating on the stock. Told my wife, wait and see if they don't use the same reason to increase their buy rating in 6-9 months. Sure enough, that's what happened. Stock went down, then stock went up and the brokers collected commissions both ways. Also, although I read FM last April I couldn't find a board that was into the GG until October ( the one at TMF wasn't active) so I wasn't completely convinced as to the merits of this approach until I had lurked and learn from my more learned thread mates and The Elders. Which explains why I have and talk about non gorrila stocks--but not much uf. And why I missed most of the qcom ride. Tom
