Dennis,

EXTREME SECTOR ROTATION where indices go in opposite directions for long period of times is not normal. Sector rotation for short periods of time is normal and sure its been with market probably since its inception.

We are talking APPLES and PEARs. If I didnt lose my darn data when I lost my hard drive, I could have even shown statistics detailing normal sector rotation since that is basicly what my GUITAR is based on, which I have mentioned in the past.

In the past the normal extreme divergence between the NAZ and DOW was about 150 DOW points(combination of NAZ and DOW points), but during what I call EXTREME SECTOR ROTATION the extreme divergences got up to 400-500 DOW points.

The EXTREME SECTOR ROTATION, has abated but not yet totally.
