That reminds me of the Simpsons episode where Homer wants a monkey that is usually reserved for "special needs" people. WHen asked what his handicap,etc was he replied.."No I'm not handicapped or anything. I'm just LAZY"..LOL!! THe problem is that I have to build a slip onto the existing dock. Since Lake Travis isn't a constant level lake the dock is floating. THis presents a number of challenges..mainly dealing with high winds and anchoring issues. It will get done eventually..about 10,000 in the end. It's not even the price..it's getting someone who is competent to do the work. Even the lousy guys are getting 20,000-40,000 per dock and have more work than they can do. Most guys won't even return my call. The quiet power of sailing across the lake is wonderful
