Toy -- either way he still has insight that the rest of us have no way of knowing. He also seems to be trying to be helpful with info supplied. IMO he is an employee that is confident in his position (if not compromised here as the sr mgmt of novel would not openly support such activity) and hopes as much as I he is in the same position but working for another company before many months have passed...

I have hardly spread acquisition rumors. There is plenty of speculation at all levels within (and without) Novell about what our future holds. The CSCO story I just thought you'd find interesting. Call it urban legend. Got tired of the constant "Novell sucks" stuff, and thought I'd liven things up a bit.
