Re straddling etc:

I cant. So this is all book knowledge. So I got it half-assed wrong in the first place. You CAN straddle even in clear trends, I just dont see why you need to have the call side in the present situation. To avoid being killed by Martian invasion? Fat chance.

(By the book) You should play straddle when going sideways and expecting an (up or down) breakout. If you go long, you buy volatility on top of it, which was pretty expensive in the first place I guess.

It's a pullback - getting the head up for a brief gulp of air - actually it WAS a pullback, and now "we're going to see the wizzard..."
