I don't think negativism is a word. Negativity?

I often remember the wisdom of a hockey coach I had when I was in Juniors - he would say if someone "got the best of you in the corner, put you down, trash talked too much, aggrievated you, cheap shot you - you should NEVER retaliate because then he owned you. The ONLY THING THAT COUNTS IS THE SCORE AT THE END OF THE GAME and if your team had more goals than the other team - just point to the scoreboard on the way off the ice and wink because the best retaliation is to WIN THE GAME.

Translation:
If you don't like the criticism, then become sooo good that people can NOT SAY bad things about you and your actions will speak volumes for you.

That said, I just would like to state for the record that I also work as a CNI so I'm out "in front" of people talking about Novell for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. So my opinion means alot in a different way wouldn't you agree? So every time I stand before a group of people my enthusiasm and passion help to keep or change some peoples view of Novell as a company that matters. I'm not asking for anything either - I find great enjoyment in helping people see "the light" :)

I don't mean to jump on you at all - in fact, having worked online for so many years, I can see how people on this board have found a "face" or a name that represents an entity called Novell. Now they have someplace to focus their frustrations - on you. You have to see that for what it is and not post blanket accusations here.
