Re: How about starting a Greenspan bashing thread if there isn't one out there? Let's take this conversation there and I will humor you

Charles,

There is one already, I read through it last night and bit my tongue not to respond. It's more like a place for people to cry. One guy had $150,000 on margin and now has his brokerage firm chasing him down. Another played the safe stocks like JDSU, CSCO, NT, etc (you know, the ones with 200+++ PE's) and just can't understand what went wrong. Of course, it's all Greenspan's fault.

The feds job is like understanding Einsteins theory of relativity, there's only 10 people in the world that really understand economics that complex.

For every AG basher, there's an AG supporter. For every person that thinks AG has gone to far, there's another that says he hasn't gone far enough. The vast majority agree with him on his reputation alone.

The economists getting the air time now are the ones bashing AG because people need a reason to know why they lost money in the Naz, like investing in stocks with 200++++ PE's wasn't enough.

Charles,

Does that mean you see discussions re the feds as off topic?

I hope not because this is an investment thread and right now the feds are having an impact on our investments
in AMD and other stocks. I find it very useful to see what the reaction is to fed actions by others, and what others are doing about it.
